Gantry crane, also known as a portal crane, is a type of large lifting equipment frequently used outdoors. It is composed of both a bridge traveling mechanism and a trolley traveling mechanism. Unlike overhead cranes, the gantry crane is shaped like a gate and moves back and forth on ground tracks. Its broad application includes use in freight yards, storage yards, beam yards, docks, ports, and various other settings. It can also be equipped with different lifting attachments for different operations.
