A tapping machine is a type of machine tool used to process internal threads with a tap. It is the most widely used machine tool for internal thread processing. According to national machinery industry standards, the tapping machine series is divided into: bench-top tapping machines—semi-automatic bench-top tapping machines, vertical tapping machines, and horizontal tapping machines. For some reason, an important and widely used category is not included, namely arm-type tapping machines (hydraulic tapping machines, electric tapping machines, pneumatic tapping machines).
