Baghouse Dust Collector The baghouse dust collector is a relatively simple production device. Dust-laden gas enters through the air inlet at the upper part of the hopper. Under the influence of the baffle, the airflow moves upward, reducing its speed. As a result, some large dust particles are separated by inertia and fall into the hopper. The dust-laden gas enters the middle compartment where it is filtered and purified by the filter bags. Dust is trapped on the outer surface of the filter bags, and the purified gas enters the upper compartment through the filter bag openings and exits through the outlet. As dust accumulates on the filter bag surfaces, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the dust collector increases. When the dust collector's resistance reaches a set value, the control system issues a cleaning command, and the cleaning system begins to operate. By activating the solenoid valve, cleaning is achieved. Baghouse dust collectors have a very high dust removal efficiency, particularly effective at capturing heavy metal particles and submicron dust particles that severely impact human health. The dust removal efficiency can usually exceed 99.99%, and the concentration of emitted smoke and dust can stably remain below 50 mg/Nm³, and even reach as low as 10 mg/Nm³, achieving nearly zero emissions. Compared to other dust removal equipment, baghouse dust collectors have many additional advantages, such as simple structure, no complex internal structures, stable operation, easy control, good safety, minimal interference factors affecting dust removal efficiency, and stable emissions. However, baghouse dust collectors have their own drawbacks, such as generating significant wind resistance when connected to induced draft pipelines. Moreover, the filter bags used for dust collection require frequent replacement, particularly as dusting during the cleaning process can easily cause secondary dust pollution.
