Tar distillation process flow: The raw tar is heated through a heat exchanger and a preheater. After heating, the tar undergoes pre-dehydration and dehydration in the dehydration tower to remove water and light oil. The anhydrous tar is then heated in a tubular furnace and fed into a vacuum distillation column, where it is separated under reduced pressure to produce phenolic oil and anthracene oil.
